Solar system 'Inescapable Objective Conditions (TBK133)' comprises the star 'Inescapable Objective Conditions' and the retinue of celestial objects gravitationally bound to it: 17 planets and their 1597 moons, as well as asteroids, meteoroids, planetoids, comets, and interplanetary dust.

The principal component of this star system is the star 'Inescapable Objective Conditions', a yellow dwarf class star that contains about 98.46% of the system's known mass and dominates it gravitationally. Inescapable Objective Conditions is located more than 1624 lightyears from the center of the galaxy.

The mass contained in this system creates crippling interference with certain types of space-fold drives. Ships passing the system often inexplicably fall out of warp and have to limp through on sub-light engines. Commercial navigators avoid IOC's gravity well at all costs, though tour ships often take a languid detour through this system, touting it as a Bermudan triangle.

Most scientists agree that the anti-warp frequencies are a result of the crosshatching gravitational fields created by the many planets and sub-planetary bodies within this claustrophobic system. Some of the most notable names in the field of conspiracy theories, however, believe that a shadow community, or underground population, is living within the coordinates of IOC, just over the border of the nearest dimension.
According to some scholars, these groups, often extremely political and fetishistic in nature, set up conduits to leech the power supplies from passing ships or even to drain the life-forces from passing organisms.
