Solar system 'Far Guard 2 (LAE445)' comprises the star 'Far Guard 2' and the retinue of celestial objects gravitationally bound to it: 9 planets and their 971 moons, as well as asteroids, meteoroids, planetoids, comets, and interplanetary dust.

The principal component of this star system is the star 'Far Guard 2', a red dwarf class star that contains about 99.26% of the system's known mass and dominates it gravitationally. Far Guard 2 is located more than 3091 lightyears from the center of the galaxy.

Station Deepview, the first planet in this system, features organic life forms with an average intelligence that have developed a high tech civilisation capable of utilizing hyperspace technology to explore their own solar system as well as distant star systems. Its average temperature is 293K (20C) and it's atmosphere contains 30% of oxygen. One year on Station Deepview lasts 157 days, one day lasts 13 hours. It's diameter is 14460 km, 1.1 times the diameter of the Earth.

This system is part of the Far Guard project to study extragalactic activity. Currently run by the Edonians for their Second Sight project, partnering with the Far Guard project, along with a few Lorzeens.

DV6 is a medium gas giant (32789 km radius) which orbits its star in 1129444 Earth days, one day on DV6 lasts 9 Earth hours. Its average temperature is 1765 K (1492 C), its atmosphere mainly consists of hydrogen, helium and it has 100 moons.

DV7 is a large gas giant (42901 km radius) which orbits its star in 2074921 Earth days, one day on DV7 lasts 9 Earth hours. Its average temperature is 1467 K (1194 C), its atmosphere mainly consists of hydrogen and it has 167 moons.

DV8 is a medium gas giant (31417 km radius) which orbits its star in 3811874 Earth days, one day on DV8 lasts 9 Earth hours. Its average temperature is 1247 K (974 C), its atmosphere mainly consists of hydrogen, helium and it has 93 moons.

DV9 is a large terrestrial planet (7758 km radius) which orbits its star in 5010839 Earth days, one day on DV9 lasts 13 Earth hours. Its average temperature is 1173 K (900 C), its atmosphere mainly consists of and it has 63 moons.
