Solar system 'Valis (LGF830)' comprises the star 'Valis' and the retinue of celestial objects gravitationally bound to it: 11 planets and their 940 moons, as well as asteroids, meteoroids, planetoids, comets, and interplanetary dust.

The principal component of this star system is the star 'Valis', a red dwarf class star that contains about 99.45% of the system's known mass and dominates it gravitationally. Valis is located more than 2073 lightyears from the center of the galaxy.

Valis D, the third planet in this system, features organic life forms with an average intelligence that have developed a civilisation capable of building larger cities, using high tech equipment and exploring their solar system. Its average temperature is 304K (31C) and it's atmosphere contains 6% of oxygen. One year on Valis D lasts 504 days, one day lasts 16 hours. It's diameter is 13990 km, 1 times the diameter of the Earth.
