The principal components of this star system are the stars 'MDJ400.A' and 'MDJ400.B' that dominate it gravitationally. 'MDJ400.A' is a red giant class star that contains about 79% of the system's known mass, 'MDJ400.B' is a yellow dwarf class star that contains about 20% of the system's known mass.

System 'MDJ400' is located more than 2819 lightyears from the center of the galaxy.
