The principal components of this star system are the stars 'MDJ418.A' and 'MDJ418.B' that dominate it gravitationally. 'MDJ418.A' is a yellow giant class star that contains about 95% of the system's known mass, 'MDJ418.B' is a red giant class star that contains about 4% of the system's known mass.

System 'MDJ418' is located more than 2819 lightyears from the center of the galaxy.
