Solar system 'Betanorus (MJE058)' comprises the star 'Betanorus' and the retinue of celestial objects gravitationally bound to it: 16 planets and their 1106 moons, as well as asteroids, meteoroids, planetoids, comets, and interplanetary dust.

The principal component of this star system is the star 'Betanorus', a red dwarf class star that contains about 99.37% of the system's known mass and dominates it gravitationally. Betanorus is located more than 2559 lightyears from the center of the galaxy.

Shulash, the second planet in this system, may feature life forms. Its average temperature is 337K (64C) and it's atmosphere contains 10% of oxygen. One year on Shulash lasts 373 days, one day lasts 18 hours. It's diameter is 22304 km, 1.7 times the diameter of the Earth.

Betanorus is the furthest Beta Quadrant colony of the Dacor.
