Solar system 'Quintel (PCA617)' comprises the star 'Quintel' and the retinue of celestial objects gravitationally bound to it: 12 planets and their 745 moons, as well as asteroids, meteoroids, planetoids, comets, and interplanetary dust.

The principal component of this star system is the star 'Quintel', a red dwarf class star that contains about 99.47% of the system's known mass and dominates it gravitationally. Quintel is located more than 2828 lightyears from the center of the galaxy.

Spenthin, the first planet in this system, features organic life forms generally very intelligent that have developed a civilisation capable of building larger cities, using high tech equipment and exploring their solar system. Its average temperature is 346K (73C) and it's atmosphere contains 18% of oxygen. One year on Spenthin lasts 153 days, one day lasts 20 hours. It's diameter is 11140 km, 0.8 times the diameter of the Earth.

Spthilion, the second planet in this system, features organic life forms generally very intelligent. The civilisation on this planet is a colony. Its average temperature is 278K (5C) and it's atmosphere contains 26% of oxygen. One year on Spthilion lasts 304 days, one day lasts 37 hours. It's diameter is 6304 km, 0.4 times the diameter of the Earth.

The Ganite Military occupied this system during the Mananin Wars, their attention drawn by the system's ancient Launch Gate. They continue to hold the Gate today, and used their control of this device to bargain with St3llar Systems for undisclosed technology.
Ganite Supreme Command believes that sites such as this are only going to increase in value, and are unlikely to relinquish their hold here. Much to the chagrin of outlaws who frequent Spthilion.
