Solar system 'Zontun (REC645)' comprises the star 'Zontun' and the retinue of celestial objects gravitationally bound to it: 9 planets and their 120 moons, as well as asteroids, meteoroids, planetoids, comets, and interplanetary dust.

The principal component of this star system is the star 'Zontun', a red dwarf class star that contains about 99.99% of the system's known mass and dominates it gravitationally. Zontun is located more than 196 lightyears from the center of the galaxy.

Gyaniaj, the first planet in this system, may feature life forms. Its average temperature is 316K (43C) and it's atmosphere contains 11% of oxygen. One year on Gyaniaj lasts 133 days, one day lasts 16 hours. It's diameter is 11862 km, 0.9 times the diameter of the Earth.

Hanus, the second planet in this system, may feature life forms. Its average temperature is 281K (8C) and it's atmosphere contains 39% of oxygen. One year on Hanus lasts 244 days, one day lasts 13 hours. It's diameter is 15648 km, 1.2 times the diameter of the Earth.

First discovered and colonized by the Mananin people in the late 3rd century PG, this system quickly became one of the most important systems in their Empire, thanks to its two inhabitable planets and wealth of natural resources. It eventually became the capital system of the Empire, and was the last system to be captured during the Kingdom of Zanta's revolution. Since then, it has remained a highly important system, with the highest population in the Kingdom.

However, its voidgate connection to Selos means that it comes under frequent attacks from pirates out of the former Dacor and Zionite Empire. These attacks have happened near constantly for the past four hundred years, and are a fact of life in the system.
