The principal components of this star system are the stars 'REH839.A' and 'REH839.B' that dominate it gravitationally. 'REH839.A' is a red supergiant class star that contains about 91% of the system's known mass, 'REH839.B' is a red giant class star that contains about 8% of the system's known mass.

System 'REH839' is located more than 403 lightyears from the center of the galaxy.
