Fernos (RKE959): yellow dwarf star with 21 planets

Solar system 'Fernos (RKE959)' comprises the star 'Fernos' and the retinue of celestial objects gravitationally bound to it: 21 planets and their 1660 moons, as well as asteroids, meteoroids, planetoids, comets, and interplanetary dust.

The principal component of this star system is the star 'Fernos', a yellow dwarf class star that contains about 99.55% of the system's known mass and dominates it gravitationally. Fernos is located more than 2200 lightyears from the center of the galaxy.

Previous capital of the Dacoran Empire, this system was largely abandoned as the 1st, 2nd, 5th and 15th Fleet headquarters after the defeat by Ale Tura in the Core War, which proved to be the largest loss in the war and one of the hardest fought battles of the end game. Despite relations warming after that the Dacor didn't recolonise Fernos officially for a few hundred more years (colonists and natives largely remaining autonomous until re-integration), with government and the majority of the Dacors sedentary forces remaining in the Selos system.

This system has a Voidgate connection to Zontun, Wonderland and Flame.
