The principal components of this star system are the stars 'SDF379.A' and 'SDF379.B' that dominate it gravitationally. 'SDF379.A' is a yellow giant class star that contains about 93% of the system's known mass, 'SDF379.B' is a red giant class star that contains about 6% of the system's known mass.

System 'SDF379' is located more than 1800 lightyears from the center of the galaxy.
