The principal components of this star system are the stars 'SFD087.A' and 'SFD087.B' that dominate it gravitationally. 'SFD087.A' is a yellow giant class star that contains about 97% of the system's known mass, 'SFD087.B' is a yellow dwarf class star that contains about 2% of the system's known mass.

System 'SFD087' is located more than 229 lightyears from the center of the galaxy.
