The principal components of this star system are the stars 'SGB262.A' and 'SGB262.B' that dominate it gravitationally. 'SGB262.A' is a red giant class star that contains about 81% of the system's known mass, 'SGB262.B' is a red giant class star that contains about 18% of the system's known mass.

System 'SGB262' is located more than 2615 lightyears from the center of the galaxy.
