Solar system 'SHD257' comprises the star 'SHD257' and the retinue of celestial objects gravitationally bound to it: 12 planets and their 834 moons, as well as asteroids, meteoroids, planetoids, comets, and interplanetary dust.

The principal component of this star system is the star 'SHD257', a red dwarf class star that contains about 98.86% of the system's known mass and dominates it gravitationally. SHD257 is located more than 2306 lightyears from the center of the galaxy.
