Solar system 'Esperan (SJH458)' comprises the star 'Esperan' and the retinue of celestial objects gravitationally bound to it: 13 planets and their 548 moons, as well as asteroids, meteoroids, planetoids, comets, and interplanetary dust.

The principal component of this star system is the star 'Esperan', a yellow dwarf class star that contains about 99.69% of the system's known mass and dominates it gravitationally. Esperan is located more than 1615 lightyears from the center of the galaxy.

Tri, the third planet in this system, features organic life forms with an average intelligence that have developed a high tech civilisation capable of utilizing hyperspace technology to explore their own solar system as well as distant star systems. Its average temperature is 317K (44C) and it's atmosphere contains 40% of oxygen. One year on Tri lasts 678 days, one day lasts 19 hours. It's diameter is 12194 km, 0.9 times the diameter of the Earth.

Unu is a medium terrestrial planet (6445 km radius) which orbits its star in 136 Earth days, one day on Unu lasts 19 Earth hours. Its average temperature is 921 K (648 C), its atmosphere mainly consists of nitrogen, oxygen and it has 1 moons.

This planet is largely deserted except for an abandoned Alilandulo base that was previously used for monitoring of Eseperan. The base has been on emergency power for thousands of years and the cryogenic pods inside have malfunctioned.

Du is a large terrestrial planet (8670 km radius) which orbits its star in 369 Earth days, one day on Du lasts 16 Earth hours. Its average temperature is 488 K (215 C), its atmosphere mainly consists of nitrogen and it has 21 moons.

The rings around the planet Du are not natural. They are made almost entirely of space-junk including failed satellites and space stations.

Tri is a medium terrestrial planet (6097 km radius) which orbits its star in 678 Earth days, one day on Tri lasts 19 Earth hours. Its average temperature is 317 K (44 C), its atmosphere mainly consists of hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen and it has 0 moons.

Kvar is a very large terrestrial planet (11892 km radius) which orbits its star in 1245 Earth days, one day on Kvar lasts 14 Earth hours. Its average temperature is 192 K (-81 C), its atmosphere mainly consists of nitrogen, oxygen and it has 18 moons.

A cold world. The surface is covered in frozen methane that the high winds have polished to a reflective turquoise.

Kvin is a large terrestrial planet (7783 km radius) which orbits its star in 2288 Earth days, one day on Kvin lasts 17 Earth hours. Its average temperature is 107 K (-166 C), its atmosphere mainly consists of hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen and it has 43 moons.
Ses is a medium terrestrial planet (6348 km radius) which orbits its star in 4204 Earth days, one day on Ses lasts 19 Earth hours. Its average temperature is 57 K (-216 C), its atmosphere mainly consists of nitrogen, oxygen and it has 16 moons.
Sep is a small terrestrial planet (3407 km radius) which orbits its star in 7723 Earth days, one day on Sep lasts 34 Earth hours. Its average temperature is 29 K (-244 C), its atmosphere mainly consists of nitrogen, carbon dioxide and it has 12 moons.
Oki is a very small terrestrial planet (2189 km radius) which orbits its star in 14189 Earth days, one day on Oki lasts 65 Earth hours. Its average temperature is 15 K (-258 C), its atmosphere mainly consists of hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen and it has 4 moons.
Nau is a large gas giant (42088 km radius) which orbits its star in 68792 Earth days, one day on Nau lasts 13 Earth hours. Its average temperature is 1594 K (1321 C), its atmosphere mainly consists of hydrogen, helium and it has 125 moons.

The closest of the gas giant planets. Nau is considered the god of the dawn to the inhabitants of Tri.

Dek is a large gas giant (42646 km radius) which orbits its star in 142701 Earth days, one day on Dek lasts 13 Earth hours. Its average temperature is 1362 K (1089 C), its atmosphere mainly consists of hydrogen, helium and it has 41 moons.

The Alilandulo consider Dek to be the 'little brother' of their life giving sun. Mythology says that Dek was cast from his brothers side for some misdeed. What this misdeed was has been lost from myth.

Dekunu is a medium gas giant (35816 km radius) which orbits its star in 262159 Earth days, one day on Dekunu lasts 13 Earth hours. Its average temperature is 1522 K (1249 C), its atmosphere mainly consists of hydrogen and it has 71 moons.

Dekunu is traditionally refered to as 'the watcher' by the Alilandulo people. It is the last planet out from the Esperan that can be observed with the naked eye from Tri..

Dekdu is a medium gas giant (24156 km radius) which orbits its star in 481617 Earth days, one day on Dekdu lasts 13 Earth hours. Its average temperature is 1185 K (912 C), its atmosphere mainly consists of hydrogen and it has 105 moons.

The Alilandulo have not re-discovered Dekdu since their catastrophic fall, but it remains on their computerised charts and in many of their logs if they knew how to access them.

Dektri is a large gas giant (59178 km radius) which orbits its star in 884787 Earth days, one day on Dektri lasts 13 Earth hours. Its average temperature is 1538 K (1265 C), its atmosphere mainly consists of hydrogen, helium and it has 91 moons.
