The principal components of this star system are the stars 'TEK164.A' and 'TEK164.B' that dominate it gravitationally. 'TEK164.A' is a blue dwarf class star that contains about 98% of the system's known mass, 'TEK164.B' is a yellow dwarf class star that contains about 1% of the system's known mass.

System 'TEK164' is located more than 2038 lightyears from the center of the galaxy.
