The principal components of this star system are the stars 'UGC052.A' and 'UGC052.B' that dominate it gravitationally. 'UGC052.A' is a red giant class star that contains about 82% of the system's known mass, 'UGC052.B' is a red giant class star that contains about 17% of the system's known mass.

System 'UGC052' is located more than 1987 lightyears from the center of the galaxy.
