Solar system 'VCD383' is a dual star system that comprises the stars 'VCD383.A' and 'VCD383.B' and the retinue of celestial objects gravitationally bound to them: 2 planets and their 60 moons, as well as asteroids, meteoroids, planetoids, comets, and interplanetary dust.

The principal components of this star system are the stars 'VCD383.A' and 'VCD383.B' that dominate it gravitationally. 'VCD383.A' is a yellow giant class star that contains about 95% of the system's known mass, 'VCD383.B' is a red giant class star that contains about 4% of the system's known mass.

System 'VCD383' is located more than 1440 lightyears from the center of the galaxy.

VCD383.1 is a very large terrestrial planet (10666 km radius) which orbits its star in 96 Earth days, one day on VCD383.1 lasts 4 Earth hours. Its average temperature is 1327 K (1054 C), its atmosphere mainly consists of nitrogen, oxygen and it has 14 moons.
