Solar system 'Origine (VJJ673)' comprises the star 'Origine' and the retinue of celestial objects gravitationally bound to it: 8 planets and their 285 moons, as well as asteroids, meteoroids, planetoids, comets, and interplanetary dust.

The principal component of this star system is the star 'Origine', a red dwarf class star that contains about 99.9% of the system's known mass and dominates it gravitationally. Origine is located more than 1713 lightyears from the center of the galaxy.

Paxat, the fifth planet in this system, features organic life forms with quite low intelligence, remaining on a very primitive evolutionary level. Its average temperature is 258K (-15C) and it's atmosphere contains 22% of oxygen. One year on Paxat lasts 992 days, one day lasts 16 hours. It's diameter is 10954 km, 0.8 times the diameter of the Earth.

A tramp cruiser had been frequenting this overlooked system. Periodically landing on Paxat, the fifth planet. This ship's ID signals had been altered, a common pirate trick. Should any nosy official attempt to download the manifests or docking records of this ship, they will find their mainframes infected with a crudely devastating software virus.

Vivat is a small terrestrial planet (3441 km radius) which orbits its star in 23 Earth days, one day on Vivat lasts 29 Earth hours. Its average temperature is 1945 K (1672 C), its atmosphere mainly consists of hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen and it has 0 moons.

This dead, heat-blasted rock warrants little attention from any sentient life form.

Deorum is a medium terrestrial planet (5985 km radius) which orbits its star in 160 Earth days, one day on Deorum lasts 14 Earth hours. Its average temperature is 1178 K (905 C), its atmosphere mainly consists of nitrogen, carbon dioxide and it has 2 moons.
Abundant is a medium terrestrial planet (5698 km radius) which orbits its star in 294 Earth days, one day on Abundant lasts 15 Earth hours. Its average temperature is 785 K (512 C), its atmosphere mainly consists of nitrogen and it has 8 moons.

Many years later, when the facts were finally assembled and the truth understood, they built a warning beacon here. One of the strongest of it's kind, transmitting it's simple message in all known languages, deep into the cosmos.
