The principal components of this star system are the stars 'WHD581.A' and 'WHD581.B' that dominate it gravitationally. 'WHD581.A' is a yellow giant class star that contains about 93% of the system's known mass, 'WHD581.B' is a red giant class star that contains about 6% of the system's known mass.

System 'WHD581' is located more than 4330 lightyears from the center of the galaxy.
