The principal components of this star system are the stars 'TFG509.A' and 'TFG509.B' that dominate it gravitationally. 'TFG509.A' is a yellow dwarf class star that contains about 73% of the system's known mass, 'TFG509.B' is a yellow dwarf class star that contains about 26% of the system's known mass.

System 'TFG509' is located more than 450 lightyears from the center of the galaxy.
