Pilgrimage site for the Godus religion, the official religion of the Divinity of Stars. The Creator, Godus, is the Creator and Guide of everything that has been created; He alone has made, does make, and will make all things.
Godus is a monotheistic religion, and as such has only a single deity. Their God, simply known as Godus or the Almighty, is solitary and all powerful, and as such the Godus God's relationships are not with other gods, but with the world and his people. The Godus faith has roots all the way back to the formation of the Universe, and also with the creation of the Edonian people. Like all creatures, Godus created the Edonians and made land for them to stand on in the form of the lost continent of Grand Gaia. However, false idols and gods were soon adopted by the Edonians, and they stopped following their one true lord. In anger at their sins, Godus flooded the land, sinking Grand Gaia and supposedly extinguishing Edonian life.
However, survivors of the apocalypse, escaping by boat, fled and were able to survive. Godus took mercy upon them and guided them to Logaia, their Promised Land, forgiving them for their sin and promising to protect them.
The Basic Tenets of the Godus religion
The Creator, Godus, is One, and that there is no unity in any manner like His, and that He alone is our God, who was, and is, and will be.
The Creator, Godus, knows all the deeds of living beings and all their thoughts.
The Creator, Godus, rewards those who keep His commandments and punishes those that transgress them.
