ORROis the 9. planet in the CLOPITTIUS (NKF191) system
written by dakotastrange
It seemed as if this was the first chance I had had to really study this alien form. As the old saying goes, "familiarity breeds acceptance" and that was exactly what I was feeling. The branched limbs were no longer such a curiosity, nor were the blue hide, fanged teeth, or that wandering eye. It was here I realized that I had bonded with this thing and the distant voice it amplified. I drifted off into slumber and dream. In general we'd like to follow common physical rules, but as this is a science fiction site some physical rules can be broken, and that's how it's allowed to travel faster than light in our galaxy. Which means that species from different planets and solar systems can meet, and users have to take care to keep the entire histories and stories consistent. |
